Do you really need a headset for business conference calls?

This is a review of the Jabra of old 4c wired headset now this headset is a little bit different it's not designed for gaming it's certainly not designed to listen to music - these are specifically aimed at business users and the thing that this does so well is conference calls that's a bit of a weird topic to focus on on this channel but the fact of the matter is that more and more of us today are spending time working from home or indeed anywhere else that we have an internet connection all you really need is a laptop or a mobile phone or tablet and it's pretty easy to do and more and more employers are allowing their employees to do this which is great the thing is that conference calls are also a fact of modern business life whether it's a video conference or a call with 20 plus people on it it can actually be really hard to be heard or indeed hear other people now our mobile phones are not bad they will certainly allow you to dial in to a call and listen in and contribute but the audio quality usually leaves a little to be desired the same is true of built-in speakers and microphones on laptops they usually just stop that great now the job revolt 40 is aimed at exactly this kind of user the headset is fairly slimline there over ear headphones and they have a nice mic microphone boom that means that you can adjust where exactly you want it to sit which makes for a much more comfortable use I think the main thing that they are is tuned for vocals rather than other sounds now that might sound a bit weird but what I mean is that it picks up your voice more than anything else when you're using the microphone this means that when you're speaking on a conference call it can be much easier for other people to hear you I've certainly never had any complaints when I've used this I've had loads of complaints when I'm using either my Apple headphones or indeed my over ear Sony headphones now the sound quality from them is pretty good too it's quite a good level of volume you get from them and again the speaker's have also been tuned directly for vocals so it's much easier to hear whoever's on the other side of their phone another thing I really like is that it comes with a little USB command module now you simply plug the 3.5 mm Altis cable into it and plug it into a computer but that's a laptop PC Mac and it'll automatically allow you to control the call from this little control pad so you have a mute switch you have pick up and put on phone and then you have the volume rockers I actually think this is really really useful not only does it give you a visual representation of whether you're a mute or not which can be incredibly useful but it also makes it much easier to interact with people on a call don't get me wrong these aren't going to set the world on fire but at around 70 pounds they're pretty good value especially if you can expense them they don't look fantastic and you know if you have these on in the coffee shop people probably go look your way of wonder what you're doing but the fact of the matter is that if you are on a conference call and you have to be on a regular basis these certainly make a really big difference they also come with a questionable neoprene carrying case but the thing is this is enough that they're so nice and small because they fold flat that it is really easy to just chuck them in your back I honestly think these are fantastic I have used other headsets in the past that are designed to be Bluetooth wireless or indeed a bit bigger but these sort of balance the abilities carry them about and really great sound quality as a result I really recommend them if you do have a business use case I think they're fantastic don't bother if you would ever think about using them for music or anything else that they're just not designed for that but if it is specifically for conference call video conferences etc and you want to be able to do them from anywhere I really think these are very good and I completely recommend them so that's my rather short but sweet review of the Jabra evolve forties and do check them out I've got a little bit more information in the description below and as ever do like subscribe and share any comments you might have as well thank you very much see you next time goodbye. Betty Crocker's Pizza Maker Review

Hi guys, this is 111Reviews and Today we're gonna be testing and reviewing the Betty Crocker Pizza Maker Plus. We're gonna see how well it works, if the food it makes tastes good and if you should buy it. So, let's make a pizza. All right, let's bring this thing out. What I'm noticing right off the bat is there is English and then there is, I think this is French. So, it's the Pizza Maker Plus. They have a lovely pizza, they're getting a nice cheese pull here. I'm skeptical of this cheese pull, but maybe I shouldn't be. We're gonna use mozzarella when I make the pizza which should give us a pretty good cheese pull. Their pizza's got a lot of toppings on it, some raw onions. I know not everyone's a fan of that, but they like it and they got some pepperoni. And the pepperonis look like they have a nice little crisp on the edges. We'll see if that happens when we do it. I'm a little skeptical. Let's get int...

How noise canceling works in a headphone?

How the noise-canceling headphones would work if you're wearing a pair of headphones on a long airplane flight. There are two sounds of interest to you, whatever it is you're trying to listen to and the tiresome drone of the engines. The sound of the engines is coming from outside the headphones, the genius of noise-canceling headphones is that they can get rid of the sound of the engines without interfering with the so-called music. All sound is just compression and rarefaction of the air around us. When you fire a starting pistol, the air around the gun is compressed, then it thins out again, then it's compressed again and so on. Imagine an infinite number of slinky stretching away in all directions and the sound rippling along with them. These are known as longitudinal waves, but for the purpose of illustration, we can represent them with sine waves with peaks and troughs like ripples in a pond. The engines of the aircraft produce a sound wave of c...
